Next launch December 7th. Christmas party December 8th.

Our next launch will be December 7th, most likely at Horning field #2.

On Sunday, December 8th, we will be having our Christmas party/business meeting/pot luck/raffle/auction. Scott has once again set us up to use the Grotto Club in downtown Jackson (102 E Washington Ave.)

Next Launch November 9th!

Our next launch will be on November 9th at Horning field #2. So put on your blaze orange jacket and come on out!

Next launch October 19th!

Our next launch will be October 19th at Horning field #2 in Manchester. Please see the above "Launch Fields" tab for directions. We'll be there from 10:00am until 5:00pm. Flights to 3000' are allowed.

AND...

... Picnic dinner at Buzz's house after the launch!

Launch is ON for September 14th!

 

We'll be at the Graves campground site at the Michigan International Speedway from 10:00am to 5:00pm. Bring Rockets! The MIS launch site can accommodate flights up to 3000ft.

Mason Aviation Day August 17

The JMRC will once again have a display setup at the Mason Aviation day on August 17. This will be at the Mason Jewett Airport (Eden Road @ Kipp Road in Mason). We need a few folks to come out with display models and talk to visitors about the JMRC. We always have lots of folks stopping by.

And we can usually swing a free lunch.

July 13th launch postponed until July 20th

Due to field conditions we will have to postpone the launch until July 20th.

Oh, and bring out those Saturn V models to celebrate the 44th anniversary of Apollo 11!   

We will be at the new Horning field (Horning's #2). To get there, follow the directions to Horning's #1 and continue south on Ernst Road another 1.5 miles. Turn left onto Bethel Church Road. Continue 0.9 miles on Bethel Church Road to the launch field on the right.  Flights are still limited to 3000 ft.

Next launch June 8th at Horning's Field

 

Alfalfa is cut so come on out to Horning's field and we will finally get to fly! We'll be there from 10:00am to 5:00pm. Flight altitude limit is 3000ft. Click on the "Launch Fields" link above for directions.

April 13th launch is on!

We'll be at MIS for our first launch of the spring. Be there!

February 9th launch is ON!

January 12th launch is on!

Brave the cold and come on out to the Michigan International Speedway on January 12th and heat up the sky!  We'll be at our usual spot at the Graves campground site from 10:00am to 5:00pm.
