Great Party!

Thanks to everyone that came out to our party/meeting yesterday.

A good crowd of folks and LOTS of good food!

The raffle and auction was a great fund raiser as folks brought lots of stuff to donate.

And the gift exchange was loads of fun!

Bob Dickinson volunteered to step in as secretary and Dave Glover volunteered to be added to the BOD.

Both were elected unanimously.

The rest of the officers remain the same.

We will post our launch schedule when we gets the dates from MIS. We will try to stick to the second Saturday of the month as best as we can.

Looking forward to another great flying season with all our friends from the JMRC.

Launch for November 9, 2019 is cancelled

Well, it looks like winter has hit us in a hurry. So due to the cold and the forecast of high winds the launch scheduled for this Saturday, November 9, 2019 is cancelled.

We will most likely not fly again until March but we might try to get in a launch if we get some spring like weather over the winter.

Thanks to everyone that has come out to our launches and we'll see you all next season!

Launch is on!

We know,
it will be a bit windy
and not so warm
but we will be there anyway!

So put on a coat and use a smaller parachute.
Oh, and pack a lunch, the cafe will not be open.
Always good to hang out with our JMRC friends no matter what the weather!

Next launch October 12, 2019

Our next launch will be October 12, 2019.

We will be back at MIS at the Graves campground site.

Check the "Launch Fields" tab above for directions to the fields.

Windy but Great September launch!

114 rockets launched into the sky on Saturday but because of the winds a few of them never made it back to the ground and are stuck in the trees at MIS.

Maybe they will find there way home some day.

Thanks to all that came out. We had a great time!

Next Launch September 14, 2019 at MIS

Our Next launch will be September 14th at MIS. Please see the "Launch Fields" tab above for directions.

If the guard is not at the gate when you arrive just call the phone number for security that is posted on the guard shack door and they will come let you in.

A Great August Launch!

After some strange winds and cloudy skies in the morning it turned out to be another great day of flying. 117 rockets took to the sky and a good time was had by all.

Thanks to all that helped with setup and tear down. All the help made things easy.
